We said hi to someone on the street and it was goin good. he said he listened to the missionaries a long time ago and wants to get baptised. Then in the first lesson we found out he is a Marijuana addict. Chusooooo. Hes been to rehab 13 times and has been doing it since he was 11 years old. Dang. Hes got a sweet spirit though and he really wants to quit. He even came to church on sunday! So we cant say hes not progressing. Idk, we'll see where that goes. Dont do Marijuana, kids.
I tripped in front of the church and fell in the gutter and landed in the dirty slime. right before church. In front of the youth. COOL.
The grasshoppers are getting abnormally big... one the size of a phone landed on an investigators shirt and he reached up and ripped it off and it ripped his shirt!! IT RIPPED HIS SHIRT
Fernando is golden as usual. He accepted a baptism date in feb. When we have lessons with him the spirit is crazy stong. He freaking makes me tear up everytime. When hes baptised, if were the ones who do it or the next set of missionaries.. Hes gonna be a leader in the church here in Ecuador. No doubt. He knows the scriptures and hes got a super strong testimony. The spirit he brings is like Woah. the kids´ got potential.
I have the greatest investigators.The greatest ward, AND the greatest mission ;)
